Machine-Washable Items Only. All clothing and other items submitted for service must be machine washable. The Laundry Fairy does not provide dry-cleaning services and does not accept dry-clean-only items.
Garment Care. The Laundry Fairy will use reasonable care when washing, drying and folding customer items. Customers are responsible for checking care labels and identifying delicate, specialty, valuable, damaged, color-bleeding, shrink-prone, or otherwise sensitive items before pickup and for providing any special care instructions.
Pre-existing Conditions & Normal Laundry Risks. The Laundry Fairy is not responsible for normal wear and tear or for damage caused by pre-existing conditions, weak or defective fabric, manufacturer defects, color loss or bleeding, shrinkage, fading, missing or damaged buttons/zippers/decorations, or items that cannot withstand the selected or customary laundering process, except to the extent caused by The Laundry Fairy's failure to use reasonable care.
Items Left in Pockets. Customers are responsible for emptying all pockets before pickup. The Laundry Fairy is not responsible for items left inside pockets or for damage caused by such items, except to the extent caused by The Laundry Fairy's failure to use reasonable care.
Special & High-Value Items. Customers should not include jewelry, cash, electronics, irreplaceable items, dry-clean-only garments, or unusually valuable items in a standard wash-and-fold order unless The Laundry Fairy has agreed in advance to accept them.
Pickup & Delivery. Customers are responsible for providing accurate pickup and delivery information and a reasonably safe, accessible location. Once an order has been delivered to the location specifically authorized by the customer, responsibility for the laundry transfers back to the customer.
Problems With an Order. Please report any missing item, damage, or service concern as soon as reasonably possible after delivery so the order can be reviewed. Any remedy or limitation of liability is subject to applicable New York law, and nothing in these terms waives rights that cannot legally be waived.
Typical turnaround is 24–48 hours, or sooner when available. Rush service is available as an add-on.
